- JDjames dean1 day ago5.0I’ve been a student here in Cardiff for 3 years, and this is the best pub in Cardiff by a mile. The staff are lovely, they make you feel like family. The atmosphere in the pub is 10/10, perfect mix of students and old boys. Prices are the cheapest you’re going to get as a student. Live music on some Saturdays and quiz on Sundays. All in all, this place feels like a second home to me. Highly recommend, 5 stars.

- FWFrank wellington2 days ago5.0I’ve been going to this pub for a year now, never experienced a pub better, top notch staff who are always so friendly and welcoming. £2.50 pints in the week for students, a premium darts set up and a weekly quiz which is pure quality and the most fun you’ll ever have. Always been good to the many societies that have walked through their door and I have never had a bad experience there. The Royal George in Roath is a must visit pub if I’ve ever seen one
